Scott began his career in financial planning, running a practice focused specifically on medical and dental professionals. That early specialization gave him a close, practical understanding of how healthcare practitioners build — and too often mismanage — their personal and practice wealth, particularly through real estate. He went on to serve as Managing Partner of a Fortune 100 financial planning firm, leading a team of more than 100 financial advisors and helping guide over $3 billion in assets across a broad range of business and individual clients. The experience gave him an institutional view of capital markets and risk that he has since applied directly to healthcare real estate. Scott founded Legacy Capital Group to give healthcare professionals access to that same institutional discipline. He is the architect of the firm’s patent-pending recapitalization model, and over the past four years has personally led more than 50 real estate projects — negotiating both debt and equity funding for each. He is also a founding member of Capitis Real Estate Group and has built additional expertise across single-family and multifamily residential portfolios.
